Knuckle Down: Animal Boxing
A downloadable card game
Get ready to Knuckle Down!
This print and play card game is a fast paced, arcade style head to head boxing match between the greatest boxers in the animal kingdom.
Play your boxing cards to punch, dodge, and guard, until you land that perfect knockout punch to win the game. Actions resolve using a timing system that may mean the difference between taking a hit or narrowly avoiding it.
Download the rules and check it out, and when you are ready you can print off one of two boxing animals:
- Rhino, who uses slow but powerful close range punches to break through the opponent's defenses
- Kangaroo, the agile outboxer that bounces around the ring to punch from preferred far distances
More boxers are in development, if you want to stay in the know you can visit www.KnuckleDownAnimalBoxing.com to sign up for the mailing list.
Other components you will need:
- Tokens for tracking your boxer's Stamina (4 tokens for each player)
- Tokens for tracking your boxer's Health (8 tokens for each player)
- Tokens for tracking where your boxer is in the ring (1 token for each player)
- A token for tracking which boxer has Initiative
Be sure to leave feedback on the rules or the characters, everything is currently in development and new updates will come out of the lab periodically.

Download KDAB PNP Kangaroo and/or KDAB PNP Rhino for the card fronts. Each of these files is a pdf with one page of 9 cards for the corresponding animal, which you can print.
Uses scissors to cut along the guide lines, separating the page into the 9 cards. You can slide the cards into card sleeves. Because each boxer has 3 kinds of cards (Red, Blue, and Yellow), you will want to have 3 different-colored card sleeves for players to know which color of card you are playing.
If you are using clear sleeves, you can also print the KDAB PNP Kangaroo cardbacks and/or KDAB PNP Rhino cardbacks sheets, and cut them to separate the page into 9 card backs. Match the colors so that cards with red fronts also have red backs, etc.
